Once your dojo has been accepted as a member of the Kai, a Kai Honbu training schedule will be initiated, for the head instructor. There will be no costs or fees for your training, and rank promotion after your first promotion, as long as your dojo charter remains valid.      
     If you're equivalent to, at least, a Brown Belt or higher in your art, and have a valid certificate to attest your rank, the Kai will issue a temporary honorary interim equivalent rank. Once you have met the technique requirements of MKR, then a permanent rank certificate will be issued.

     You will be expected to train at the Kai Honbu as much as possible. If the dojo is a great distance you are encouraged to visit the Kai Honbu at least every eight to twelve months. Another option is to train via video tapes. Instructor oriented video tapes may be purchased to supplement your training.     

     Grading for all Black belt ranks will be conducted by a Kai testing board of not less than three black belts.
